Bundling Infowave Symmetry Pro with PDAsync from LapLink creates a compelling business solution for users seeking to optimize their handheld devices with useful, compelling functionality without waiting for assistance from corporate IT. PDAsync synchronizes information stored on desktop software applications with a variety of handheld devices, offering users easy access to stored information while mobile. Symmetry Pro takes these users one step further, with dynamic, real-time wireless access to email and personal information management (PIM) capabilities.

Symmetry Pro is more than just e-mail " users are able to perform all calendaring functions, query all contact lists and interact with attachments on capable devices. In order to allow secure use in business environments, Symmetry Pro encrypts all messages from end-to-end with 256-bit AES encryption technology and only allows the desktop to communicate with the Symmetry Pro Gateway through outbound HTTPS. In order to use Symmetry Pro, users must have a wirelessly enabled device, which uses the Palm or Pocket PC 2002 operating system, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 or 2000, Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows XP; Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher; and constant Internet access.
