Why am I unable to see the tabs or split window in a ShareDirect folder after upgrading my version of Windows?

The upgrade to the newer version of Windows has caused portions of the registry to be re-loaded and
certain files that are required by ShareDirect are no longer registered. The simplest way to
re-register them is to reinstall ShareDirect. In order to do this, follow these steps:
Uninstall Laplink ShareDirect using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
When asked to completely remove the application, click on Yes
When asked if you wish to remove all ShareDirect configuration files, folder mappings, and
account information, leave it on the default option – Do not remove (Recommended)
Reboot the computer
Reinstall Laplink ShareDirect
